EPTISA proudly participated in the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) World Congress 2025 in Buenos Aires, reaffirming our strong commitment to sustainable waste management and environmental protection.
During the event, we presented the Integrated Waste Management project in Jujuy Province (Argentina), selected as a success story for expert discussions. This innovative model combines advanced technology, efficient institutional structures, and sustainable financing, supported by the European Union (EU), the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
As technical consultants, EPTISA leads:
Diagnosis and action plan.
Infrastructure project design.
Tender assistance and system implementation.
Key infrastructures include:
Centro Ambiental Jujuy (CAJ): sorting plant, composting facility, and sanitary landfill with leachate control and biogas capture.
Sorting and transfer plants.
Transfer stations and collection points to optimize logistics.
Biogas plant for energy generation.
This public policy enables the closure and remediation of open dumps, promotes regionalized management, and fosters the circular economy, driving a structural transformation in solid waste management across the province.
We sincerely thank James Law (ISWA President) and Atilio Savino (ARS President) for their warm welcome and the excellent organization of the event.
We look forward to ISWA Congress 2026 in London, where we will continue sharing new projects and sustainability innovations!
